Detalles de la actividad

Environmental education workshop during which participants will make bird boxes for local birds in forest and agricultural areas in the Anaga Biosphere Reserve (European robins, Eurasian blue tits and house sparrows). The goal of the workshop will be to construct bird boxes which will be placed in different points around the hamlet of Las Carboneras, in an effort to contribute to the recovery of populations of native and endemic bird species. After the workshop, you will head out along a trail to install the bird boxes.


  • 15€ per adult, who may be accompanied by a maximum of two children, aged over six (includes route and workshop).
  • Optional picnic from Buscándome Las Habichuelas, with local, organic products (7€/person), including the following: 200ml juice, sandwich with blanched corn bread (pepper pate, roast pork leg, onion, tomato and lettuce) 200g rice salad and a piece of fruit.

  • Outgoing and return transfer included from Plaza del Hermano Ramón (La Laguna) to Las Carboneras. ETA 14:00.
  • Recommendations to take part in this route: a 1L refillable water bottle (the organisation will provide water at the information point at the beginning of the activity only), warm clothes, sun cream (face and lips) and comfortable footwear.
