Themed route beginning in La Quebrada just before the Pedro Álvarez recreational area. The trail connects this area with the Mirador de Zapata, las cuadras de Don Benito, el Monte del Nieto and El Caidero. This route offers the chance to discover heritage sites of great historical significance related to water, such as lavaderos (public washing places), water storage tanks, reservoirs, springs and irrigation channels. An activity with an educational and awareness-raising focus on the value of water. What is more, it takes place in Anaga, an area marked by the mist created by the effect of the trade winds, which condenses and filters down into the mountains.


  • 15€ per person (includes the complementary activity)
  • Optional picnic from Buscándome Las Habichuelas with local, organic products (7€/person), including the following: 200ml juice, sandwich with blanched corn bread (basil sauce, vegetable omelette, 250g seasonal salas and a piece of fruit.

Guided wine tasting led by AVITE and food tasting, upon arrival at the Casa de los Zamorano.

Logística y recomendaciones

  • Outgoing transfer from Casa de los Zamorano to the activity starting point, in the Pedro Álvarez recreational area (transfer departs at 09:00).
  • Recommendations to take part in this route: a 1L refillable water bottle (the organisation will provide water at the information point at the beginning of the activity only), warm clothes, sun cream (face and lips)and comfortable footwear.
