Food tasting of different products from La Laguna and the Anaga Biosphere Reserve, over two very special sessions with a limited number of participants. A guided gastronomic experience in which you will learn about the organoleptic properties of the local products, and which dishes/products they pair best with.

Programación

10 – 12: Taste the biosphere. KM 0 breakfast with products from Anaga

Healthy breakfast made up of KM 0 products from Anaga by La Gangochera de Anaga, including the following:

  • Seasonal fruit juices
  • Goats cheese with cereal from the La Florida cheese farm
  • Gofio bar from Las Mercedes and a selection of traditional sweets
  • Beetroot bread cool filled with roast vegetables and hummus
  • Coffee or tea

 

12 – 14 h. Taste the Biosphere. Guided honey and cheese tasting, paired with artisan beers

Tasting of different honeys from Anaga and other parts of Tenerife, with commentary from Natalia Díaz (biologist and beekeeper, founder of EcoAlpispa). The session will have a sensory component and will be followed by a tasting of local cheeses, led by Zebina Hernández, a UNESCO expert in cheese production, processing and sale and consultant in high quality products. The honeys and cheeses will be paired with a selection of artisan beers from La Laguna by La Armada and Chutney.
