Detalles de la actividad

A nature walk to discover a variety of native plant species. There will be an explanation of their characteristics, exploring their most common medicinal and traditional uses in the Anaga mountains. The route is centred around the areas of El Moquinal and Monte del Nieto, and will allow visitors to learn about the botanical wealth of these unique surroundings, with a special focus on ethnographic, cultural and social explanations.


  • 15€ per adult, who may be accompanied by up to two children aged six or over (includes workshop and walk).

Actividad complementaria incluida

  • Ethnobotanical workshop: during the walk, to learn about some of the uses and applications of the endemic plant species identified, discovering their medical and curative properties, with a participatory approach.

Logística y recomendaciones

  • Transfer included from Tegueste to El Moquinal (transfer departs at 08:30 from Casa de Los Zamorano).
  • Recommendations to take part in this route: a 1L refillable water bottle (the organisation will provide water at the information point at the beginning of the activity only), warm clothes, sun cream (face and lips)and comfortable footwear.
